4200 women and girls

Too often,
female victims
of physical abuse or injury cannot seek treatment in medical facilities or choose not to be seen by male doctors due to religious traditions & social structures
Our team of female reconstructive surgeons partners with local medical facilities and local medical professionals to provide surgical care to those women in need.
OUR APPROACH
The women surgeons of RWI emphasize the continued growth of female
RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGEON PRESENCE
despite the existing obstacles.
Our mentorship, and educational programs will facilitate future leadership,
and help to close the gender gap.
Our aim is to cultivate a sense of belonging within the reconstructive surgery community, allowing
brilliant young women to flourish.
